Why is POTUS Trump giving pardons?

..."am I not merciful ?"

Does he see himself as a "god king", as a "caesar", to be higher that any judge or any law?

Does it embolden his self magnification and self glorification?

Is it an expression of his FREEDOM to do "own will" "own right-eousness"...to serve and magnify oneself?
