Equality...American Spring...Obama's Election

The American core and primary “religion” in the values of equality, fairness, rights….will it produce an American Spring (in the US election) as it did in the Middle East?

President Obama sent a message in his Sate of the Union address declaring the importance of the core American values of equality of rights and opportunity.

He put forth this vision in view of the large taxation difference between the rich and middle class citizens of the USA. He declared that it is not right that the rich should pay less (in %) than any other American citizen, especially in view of the fact that many middle class workers are suffering during this economic hardship.

President Obama’s words brought to evidence the following questions. Is it right and fair that an individual making over $1,000,000.00 per year can pay a 50% lower tax rate? Can one not say that a contributing factor to the wealth of the rich individual came from the hard work of the middle class American? If it were not for the middle class people, the rich would not be rich?

Will this stir up the American people to stand for their belief in the values of equality and rights?

Will this desire for equality and rights lift up the people to give President Obama a majority?

One thing for certain, the desire for these values and rights has caused the Arab people to protest, suffer beatings, jailing, torture, and death….until they got/ will get want they wanted (want)…equality of rights and freedom from corruption of the rich and from self serving dictators.

What individual does not believe in one’s rights?...to have equal opportunity, to have equal treatment, to have equal freedom to live one’s own lifestyle, to have equal freedom to worship the “god” of one’s choosing as per one’s interests?

………My Rights! My Rights! My Rights!!...these are the first words that come out in times of conflict.

Is this not a “good” way of life? Is this not a “righteous way of life? …that each and every individual embrace, worship, and live by the priority belief in one’s equal rights for one’s happiness?

It is not!

Because...buried beneath this glorification of the self-rights, somewhere labeled as a “religion among other religions”, is the God and Father of Christ. ....The Creator that Christ stood and died for.
....The Creator that resurrected His Son because of His love for man.

Christ did not work for the belief in the desire for the priority of one’s rights…..Christ worked for the belief in the desire to serve the other, to do good to the other, before one’s own interest.

If all men were to live by the priority to serve (in the truth and goodness of Our Creator) the other, then each and every one would strive for the other’s well being.

…..no one would take advantage of the other, no one would place one’s interest before the other’s, man would not get rich on the backs of others, man would give to the other and not horde it for one’s self-interest pleasures.

As Christ said to the rich young ruler( who claimed himself to be “righteous”)…..go and sell your wealth and give it to those that have not (help and serve your neighbor) commit yourself to the True God and To Christ (the One True Way of Life) and follow Christ no matter what the consequences to your physical life….for this faith in the True Way of Life will lead to eternal existence in true peace and righteousness.

However, as we know, the rich ruler could not commit to Christ’s way of life because the love for his wealth (to serve his own interests and rights) was more important to him than to serve his neighbor at the expense of all his wealth.

The reality is that Christ will return to rule the earth according to the One True Way of Life…He will rule with a rod of iron.

It is written that man will reject Christ and go against Him.
This will be Man’s Spring against the King of Kings.

…BUT IT IS NOT MAN’S WILL NOR HIS BELIEF IN “HIS” RIGHTS THAT WILL PREVAIL!
