When People Want their Personal "Rights"...they want...
What is it when people want their personal "rights"?....they want to establish and justify that their way of life is righteous....they want to be the ones who will "know"/ decide what is and is not "good or evil" for their own interests/pleasures.
Adam and Eve chose this way, irrespective of the Truth from the One Creator God and irrespective of His warning that this way of self-righteous interest would lead to death.
On the surface the belief in freedom of rights is seen as the "glory of men" and man's ultimate way to peace, but this way speaks as the dragon....placing itself above the Creator God and His Son the Christ.
As a Christian, do you want to serve your will and live by your interests / self -justified rights or do you want to serve/ live by the will of Our Creator, as Christ did and does?
Christ did not say to go against Caesar (as the ruler)...but He said not worship him as a god....not to worship Caesar's way of life of glorifying oneself.
The True Way is not a question of voting and rights...it is a question of serving the One Creator God, of confessing Christ as His Son,as Savior, as King and it is a question of loving one's neighbor as oneself.
...This should be our desire and not that of freedom of rights...freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of sexuality, etc....
....because when one desires these "rights" , it is understood that one must, as President Obama has said, responsably respect and acknowledge the rights, beliefs, words, gods, and lifestyles of others...even if they say that Christ is not the Son of God, even if they say that there is not only one God, even if they say that the Creator is a religion among religions, even if they say that homosexuality is ok, even if they say that fornication is ok,even if they say that adultery is ok, even if they say that drugs are ok, even if they say that pronography is ok, even if they say that murderers can have early parole, even if they say that a burglar has rights, even if they say that greed is justified and good.
