"Christmas" and the 7 churches in Revelations of Jesus Christ
An important detail about "Christmas".
...it incorporates rituals and beliefs from the worship of pagan religions and their gods.
I believe that no one denies the existence of these symbols of these pagan beliefs, in fact they acknowledge them... BUT they also justify them....as did the Roman General (katholika) Church.
What did Lord Jesus say to several of the 7 churches in His Revelations about the inclusion and justification of pagan beliefs?
What were some of those 7 churches guilty of ?
Ephesus: they accepted the way fo the Nicolaitians ( which Jesus hated)
Pergamos: they accepted teachings of Nicolaitians and worship of Balaam idols
Thyatira: they accepted the religion of Jezebel and idol worship
Sardis: their love for Jesus was dead...replaced by love for another way
Laodicea: lukewarm, accepted to be religiously self righteous
What did Lord Jesus tell them to do?
...to overcome .....or suffer punishment.
It is clear, according to Lord Jesus's own Words, that it was not acceptable that the beliefs from the "religions" created by men be incorporate, added to, or justified within His assemblies.
And yet, the Roman General (Katholika) Chruch has done done just that and it is clearly reflected in the "Christmas" that it and mankind ( unrepented sinners ) justify and celebrate.
Lord Jesus said to overcome.
Read the first few chapters of Revelations.
